  • What are the candles made of?
    The candles are made from environmentally friendly soy wax. This burns nicer, cleaner and non-toxic, compared to alternatives. You can find more information on the 'soy candles' page.
  • How do I ensure that my candles burn the best and safest?
    We have described a number of useful tips for this, so that you can get the most out of the candles. This information can be found on the 'candle care' page, under the heading 'about our products'.
  • Why does my candle have small pieces of 'white deposit'?
    This is called frosting and is formed by a natural process in soy wax. This layer has no adverse effect on the burning of the soy candle. In addition, this layer only forms with 100% natural soy candles, so if you have a candle with some frosting, you can be sure that your candle is 100% natural.
  • Why is my candle not burning properly?
    You may not have cut the fuse to a proper length. There may be too much molten wax compared to wick. You can easily solve this by dipping a piece of kitchen roll in the wax to remove some melted wax. On the other hand, it is also possible that the wick is still too long, it is best to extinguish the candle, wait until it has cooled completely, cut the wick to 0.5 cm and light the candle again.< /p>
  • Where can I find the status of my order?
    The moment you have placed an order, you will receive an order confirmation by e-mail. This order confirmation contains your order number and an overview of your ordered items. When your order is ready for shipment you will receive an email with a Track & Trace code. You can also find your order in 'My Account' if you have an account. 1. Log in here on the website with your Slow Living Boutique account. When you have placed an order as a guest, you can log in via this link. 2. Go to 'my orders' 3. Look up the order for which you want to know the status. The status of the order can be found behind the relevant order. Details of the order can be viewed by clicking on 'view order'.
  • How do I cancel my order?
    You cannot cancel the online order once you have completed the order. Your order is then already in process. If you have any questions, please contact our customer service.
  • How do I change my order?
    After you have completed the order, it is unfortunately not possible to change your order. You cannot add or cancel products after your order.
  • How can I pay?
    You can pay via Credit/Debit card, Apple pay, iDeal PayPal and Klarna.
  • Within how long do I have to return?
    Your return must be returned within 14 days of arrival.
  • What are the costs for the return?
    In most cases, a return shipment with PostNL costs € 6.95. This price depends on the weight of the return shipment. The return costs increase to €13.95 if the package weighs more than 10 kg. We will refund you the total purchase price, including delivery costs, within 14 days of receipt of the cancellation statement.
